2026 SEC Football Tiebreaker Rules

• The two teams with the best conference winning percentages qualify for the SEC Championship Game.
• The tiebreaker applies only among teams tied for one or both championship places.
• After both participants are known, the two-team procedure determines home and away designation.

For two teams competing for the second berth, the SEC applies the ordered criteria until one team gains an advantage.
