History
The Lakefront Bowl began in 2022 as a Division III postseason game between teams from the Midwest Conference and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference outside the NCAA championship bracket. The inaugural organizer recap records the game at Raabe Field in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
The early editions carried the Cousins Subs name; the 2025 game used SmileyCookie.com. The organizer moved the announced 2026 edition to Schneider Stadium at Carroll University in Waukesha. Each edition retains its contemporary name and documented venue.
